Based in Falme, High Lord Silvak Kalcainus has been given command of a contingent of elite deathwatch guards headed by Okil, Tzao, and Antonio. The upkeep and policing of the Corenne is handled by these men and women who serve the Empress, may she live forever, and may be called upon at any time by the High Lord to complete tasks that he feels may only be accomplished by them.

     Working in conjunction with the Morat'Torm and the Morat'Raken, they have worked to return the lands of the oathbreakers to the possession of the Empire, and bring all who dwell there under the Empress' rule. They will fight to the last, and revel in the challenges before them. They fight most like a simple infantry, and usually take orders from the accompanied Morat's during battle. But they have the final word in all civil arguments no matter how big or small, unless being held to account by the seekers of the truth.

     To this end, there are currently two areas that the Deathwatch Guards focus on. One is in aiding the Corenne by travelling into the lands temporarily held by the oathbreakers, converting those who wish to repent for the sins of their fathers, and slaying those who would dare to raise a weapon upon a soldier of the Empire. The other is focused inward. Rot has a way of festering on the inside before spreading outwardly. The contigent of the Deathwatch that remain behind strive to prevent the rot from ever gaining a foothold. Many rebels have been brought to justice after straying from the path of righteousness.

     Any who wish to join this elite group of fighters must show great ability, and understanding, as well as a willingness to take orders during battle, yet be able to think clearly and take control if need be. This contingent of the Deathwatch expect all of their members to be fully trained in the arts of war as well as the rules of the court long before trying to gain acceptance into their ranks.
